Trading Times

In the trading time options section, you can set up all the details regarding activation times, risk control during nights, and the last hours of the week, among other things.

Time Reference: This option defines the basis for time calculations. You can choose “Broker Time,” “Local Time,” or “GMT” as the reference for time calculations.

Friday Start Time (24H): This is the hour at which ESB starts considering it to be Friday. For example, if you have a martingale strategy and you set this option to 5, with a profit target of 10% and a Friday profit target of 5%, ESB will use the 10% target before 05:00 AM and switch to the 5% target after that.

Close All on Weekends: Enable this option to avoid the risk of weekend gaps by closing all open positions in the last hours of the trading week.

Don’t Close Loss Positions | Rallies | Grids on Weekends: If you want to close only profitable positions while leaving negative ones open over the weekend, enable this option.

Weekend Close Hour (24H): Use this option to set the specific hour at which ESB will close positions on weekends, using a 24-hour format.

Weekend Warn Hours: Set the hours before the weekend when ESB should not enter any new positions.

Week Start -> Forbidden Entry Hours: The first few hours of Monday can be risky due to wide spreads. This option allows you to set the time when ESB should start trading on Monday.

Night Warn Hours: Some brokers widen their spreads at night. If you prefer not to enter new positions during these hours, set the warning hours here. For example, if you set this option to 2, ESB will not enter any new positions from 10:00 PM to 02:00 AM the following day.

Close All If Time is Warn Hours: Enable this option if you want ESB to close all positions at the beginning of the night warning hours you have set.

New Year No Trading: Enable this option if you prefer not to trade from the last days of December through the first days of January. You can set the specific range of days for this period.

NFP Warn Hours: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics releases the Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) figures on the first Friday of every month, which can significantly impact the Forex markets. This option allows you to set warning hours before and after the NFP announcement, during which ESB will not enter any new positions.

Close All During NFP Times: If you do not want to have any open positions during the NFP warning hours, enable this option. ESB will close all open positions at the start of the NFP warning hours.

Max Hours to Get TP: If you want to set a timeout for reaching a target profit, use this option. After the specified time, ESB will attempt to close the position with a positive profit. For example, if you set this option to 10 hours and the target profit is not reached within that time, ESB will close the position immediately if it is profitable. If the position is still in the red, ESB will wait until it becomes profitable before closing it.

Max Hours Positions Can Be Open: Use this option to set the maximum number of hours that a position can remain open. After this period, ESB will close the position immediately, even if it is at a loss.
